Salsa Agave

My friends and I wanted something quick to eat so we spotted Salsa Agave and it looked decently busy so we thought we’d give it a try. I’m all for trying new things! Most of the things on their menu are around $10.

Complimentary chips and dip were offered for the table but the dip tasted a lot like tomato sauce/marinara sauce and not salsa which I thought was weird. The chips were okay. For some reason my picture refuses to show up sorry!

Salsa AgaveSomeone ordered a burrito. Didn’t try this but it seemed really big and served with guacamole and sour cream on the side.

This was a Tostada and I forgot what kind of meat it had but it looked pretty appetizing compared to what I got! Two of my friends got this and they liked it.

I decided to get some Tacos and it was a bad idea… I had the beef tongue, pulled pork, grilled beef and al pastor (pork with pineapple). The meat was dry and there wasn’t much sauce to give it flavour and they just looked very plain and unappetizing. The onions and lime served on the side did nothing for me. I just ended up dipping it in the spicy sauce that was also served with this. The corn tortillas also didn’t taste very good. :( If you want tacos or good Mexican food go to La Taqueria or  Sal Y Limon!!!

No one else complained about their food but the tacos were really less than mediocre.
