I’ve passed by Milestones on Broadway and Cambie a lot and it always looked nice but I’d never been inside before. Okay to be fair I haven’t been in a few years anyway. The restaurant is on the second floor and It’s actually really open and spacious inside with the usual dim lighting and many TV’s with sports games on. My friend had a gift card that she needed to use so she invited me to come along with her.

I went on a Tuesday and OriginalΒ Bellini’s are 50% off! A classic, sweet girly drink for me with not much alcohol! They also have an Ultimate Bellini which is 3 ounces instead of 2.

The Stacked Burger had a prime rib patty, Montreal smoked meat, double-smoked bacon, mushrooms, carmelized onions, cheddar cheese and horseradish cream. I wasn’t expecting too much from this but boy was this burger good! It was so juicy and there was so much meat. With that being said, it was really messy to eat but totally worth it! I loved the spicy kick from the horseradish cream as well.

On the other hand, the fries were atrocious. So limp and mushy… what happened?!?!?! At least they were seasoned well but I think next time I’ll send them back.

I know you’re not suppose to order pseudo-Asian dishes at Milestones but I really felt like eating something Thai! This was the Spicy Thai Basil Noodles with prawns, chicken, coconut milk and basil infused chili sauce. Surprisingly enough it was actually spicy. There was a good mix of ingredients and plenty of flavour. The cubes of chicken were a tad dry but not too bad. It was expensive though ($19.75) considering I can get authentic pad thai for cheaper. Probably wouldn’t have ordered this if we didn’t have a gift card.

If you have a Scene card you can collect scene points at Miletones. There is also a survey on the receipt that you can fill out and you’ll receive a coupon for a free appetizer on your next visit (according to my friend who actually filled it out).
