Doughnut Time seems to be everywhere in Sydney! I’ve passed by five locations and I just had to give them a try! These babies are huge! It’s like a doughnut meal! The shops are really small with just a window displaying the sugary goods and you just take it to go. With a neon doughnut sign on the front of the retro green shop, they’re hard to miss.
All the doughnuts have cool names like “Pump Up the Jam”, “A Matcha Made in Heaven” and “All the Feels”. Doughnut Time has filled doughnuts as well as glazed doughnuts for $6 each. After staring at the display forever, I decided on the Home Alone with a milk chocolate glaze, waffle pieces, and a piece of KitKat.
These are fluffy yeast-raised doughnuts and they’re super thick! The sweet chocolate glaze was heavenly and every bite was fluffy sweet goodness. Don’t worry, I shared (not that I really wanted to but I’m not exactly getting close to my summer body…).
These are a lot bigger and more expensive than the doughnuts I’m used to eating but equally delicious. Treat yo’self!
