Thai Riffic is a chain restaurant located outside of Westfield Parramatta and it’s in a great location for quick eats. I love Thai food and Sydney has Thai food in abundance. They were pretty busy at dinner time but the wait was short.
We ordered Satay Chicken Skewers with Peanut Sauce but it actually came last. Each skewer had moist and juicy chicken. There was plenty of peanut sauce for the chicken but each piece was well seasoned so it tasted good on its own already.
The Pad See Ew had rice noodles stir fried with beef, eggs, broccoli and sweet soy sauce. The food came superbly fast. We ordered and the food came in 5 minutes. The noodles had great “wok hay” and the sweet soy sauce went well with the noodles.
The Pad Thai came with chicken, eggs, beansprouts and tofu. I found it strange that they served chilli flakes, crushed peanuts and sugar on the side of the dish but nonetheless I just mixed everything together except the sugar. The portion didn’t look that big at first but it was actually pretty good and filling. There was a substantial amount of protein here and the tamarind sauce is what makes it so addictive for me!
No complaints here and I would come back for more quick and cheap eats!
